Straightforward hire terms
Minimum order R1,500 — about three cocktail tables, or a lounge set plus a table. Delivery, setup & collection quoted by venue (from R700 within 20km of Randburg). A 50% booking fee confirms your date, with a refundable breakage deposit of 20% (min R500) returned within 7 days of collection. Prefer to fetch? Collect and return in Randburg and pay no delivery.

Vat n Sit — Afrikaans for Grab a Seat — was born from a simple idea: that discarded oil drums could become beautiful, functional furniture.
Based in South Africa, we source reclaimed 210-litre oil drums from local industries and transform them into unique pieces that bring industrial charm to homes across the country.
Each piece is handmade start to finish in our Randburg workshop — cut, sanded, sealed and hand-painted by the same hands every time. We believe in furniture that tells a story — your story, shaped in steel.

Pick a piece, your colour and any branding or personal touches. Prices are right on the page — send your order via WhatsApp and a 50% deposit secures your build slot.
We handcraft it
Your piece is built from a reclaimed 210L drum, hand-painted in your colour and finished with premium cushions — made to order in 10–14 days (about 3 weeks for sets).
Delivered to your door
Collect free in Randburg, or we deliver — greater Joburg from R350, anywhere in South Africa on request. Then all that's left to do is vat 'n sit.
